A Herbalist in uphill Lincoln. Karen Everett trained at the University of Lincoln, graduating with BSc (Hons) degree in Herbal Medicine and has been practising since 2008. A background in Nursing and bringing up four children has added to life experience, and a particular interest in treating children as well as adults.
Herbal Medicine practice has an ancestral link in Karen’s life as her great grandmother was a Herbalist in the 1920s and 1930s, so wisdom and knowledge were handed down and added to the learned academic knowledge.
Karen's interest in Herbal Medicine came from a deep connection with nature and it's curative powers, and a desire to enable others to experience this.
Karen Everett is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists.
"The National Institute of Medical Herbalists was established in 1864 and is the oldest body of practising herbalists in existence today.
